Process Data Historian

There was a time when the laboratory operated as an isolated island of automation. In today’s environment of Global Enterprise Resource Planning and highly sophisticated process modeling systems, making laboratory results available in a timely manner to these systems is critical for success.

As analytical results are completed in the laboratory, they often need to be transferred into the process data historian. Baytek offers several ways to achieve the transfer including a direct PI interface, the use of industry standard OPC, connection through ODBC from the data historian application, and flat file transfer of results.
