Label Manager

Printing labels is a critical component of tracking samples in today’s laboratories. Integrating label printing capability into the LIMS is a proven method for enabling effective sample management and is far more efficient and accurate than manual processes.

Baytek International's Label Manager integrates with BLISS to meet all laboratory label management needs. The Baytek Label Service, which is the core of the Label Manager, runs on the server as a Windows Service™ and monitors requests made by clients. The system is flexible and allows for On-Demand labels as well as Scheduled labels. Privileges can be set to control technician access as needed, and reprint functions can be handled through WebBLISS for remote access.

A critical new component of Label Manager is CODESOFT™, a third-party software used to design label templates and print labels. With CODESOFT™, the user has control of parameters, including label fields, layout, format size, fonts, color and other items. CODESOFT™ also allows access to the latest Windows drivers for your label printers.
