Overview - Prerequisites - Syllabus

 
 
LIMS Administrators who have responsibility for the configuration and daily maintenance of the WinBLISS system should attend this course.  
 
This course will be very beneficial for anyone who has privileges to configure the database (run Modify) and for whom one of the following conditions exists:
   
Has recently gained these privileges;
Has not attended a WinBLISS Administrator course since upgrading to R11;
Is planning an upgrade to R11 in the near future;
Is responsible for training new employees;
Wants to gain confidence and knowledge about WinBLISS applications currently in use; or
Wants to learn about the function and possibilities for WinBLISS applications that are not currently in use.
   
Prerequisites for the LIMS Administrator Course include:
   

Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows 2000; Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 2000 (specifically MS Word and Excel); WinBLISS privileges that include running the Modify application (configure the database.)
