REPORTING function gives the laboratory manager several tools that help control and automate reporting processes. These tools are easy to use and can be custom designed for specific applications. As a result, custom reports are less costly to provide to end users. Reporting Tools enable organizations to provide user-defined reports at a very low cost, with no custom programming or outside resources required. Analytical data within WinBLISS can be automatically exported into Microsoft Excel in either batch data format or in cell-by-cell specific report format. With the Excel Add-in, process support personnel can easily search the database and pull the data into a spreadsheet. Data fields can also be imported into Microsoft Word documents to create formatted reports semi-automatically, or used to create other custom reports for internal users or regulatory agencies. Certificate of Analysis (COA) enables organizations to generate professional, customer-specific Certificates of Analysis through a menu driven process, making it simple enough to delegate to personnel outside the QA Department. The relational key write-back feature allows the user to add customer/site specific information to each and query techniques. SECURITY provides a balance between time-inefficient rebooting of clients with the ability to apply responsible reporting of events. Each lab user has an identification number which is added to each time-stamped event. The system has the capability of defining roles and privileges for each user. Password aging is also an option. |
