OASIS

Baytek International is continuing to develop new solutions to provide our customers with the next level in quality data management.

Our most recent solution: OASIS automates the management of online analyzer data correlation and model creation.

This web system captures online predictions and associated spectra files then automatically correlates these predictions with the appropriate laboratory primary method data.  Capturing this correlation in the OASIS database allows for powerful charting and chemometric modeling pre-work.

Configurable dashboards display real-time charting and analytics for blending and planning activities.

Predictions, spectra and primary data are captured in the database, so that chemometric model preparation becomes a button-click activity, rather than tens of hours of busy work per parameter.

Finally, management of the models and revision control of the models alongside the datasets used for their creation is made simple in our integrated document management suite.

Capabilities:

  • Capture predicted results and associated spectra along with lab results
  • View lab results and predictions together
  • Analytics comparing both in real-time
  • Generate chemometric modelling packets at the click of a button

Benefits:

  • Save Money: Greatly improved blending and planning decision making with real-time analytics of lab and predicted results in a configurable dashboard view
  • Save Time: Significantly reduce time and errors creating and managing chemo-metric models

Fit for Purpose

Baytek International’s methodology is to provide Fit-for-Purpose Solutions. Online Analyzer Optimization was designed in cooperation with Process Instruments to deliver a true “solution” to the industry-wide problems of: 1– Managing online analyzer data, 2- Reconciling online analyzer data with lab primary method data 3– Generating the data associations necessary to develop models utilizing Eigenvector Solo or other chemometric software OASIS, an off-the-shelf product, is natively integrated into BLISS LIMS or may be interfaced to any other LIMS

  • Reliability  Geographic Redundancy and High Availability (HA) make CLOUD systems the most reliable
  • Secure  Private CLOUD with the industry’s best security protocols
  • Cost-Effective  CLOUD hosting provides significant ROI by utilizing economy of scale for the IT support of specialized systems while freeing up local IT to focus on managing the big picture
  • Enterprise Interfaces  Process Control, PHD, ERP, and more
  • Instrument Interfaces  Serial, PC-controlled, CDS

High IT ROI

  • Continuous Backups
  • Near Perfect Up-Time
  • Constant System Management
  • Regular System Updates
  • No Server Provisioning; No Hardware Costs; No IT Helpdesk Costs or Training for Specialized Applications

Baytek International’s leading web BLISS LIMS solution, QC/PLUS solution, and iPRO solution are now certified for cloud implementations.

Baytek has partnered with a world leader in cloud hosting to offer a completely secure, private, and geographically redundant cloud hosted LIMS solution. Leveraging the power of Baytek’s all web BLISS LIMS and our highly skilled Professional Services Team, Baytek is able to offer a totally managed, turn-key cloud hosted LIMS.

Baytek understands how important it is to our customers that their LIMS not be an “information island”, so a critical goal of our cloud solution architecture is to provide the same high degree of interface-ability in the cloud that our customers expect from traditional BLISS LIMS implementations. Baytek’s cloud BLISS offering provides for both the enterprise interfaces, such as PI, OPC, SAP, and more, as well as instrument interfaces to RS232 Serial Output Instruments and PC Controlled and CDS Instruments, like OpenLab EZChrom.

BLISS is so much more than just a simple cloud capable LIMS, BLISS is a leading web LIMS coupled with full interface capability hosted in a secure, robust, and low total cost cloud solution.

Fit for Purpose

Baytek International’s methodology is to provide Fit-for-Purpose Solutions. BLISS was no exception. We were careful not to just install our software on a cloud hosted server and call that a cloud LIMS; that approach in our opinion would not be “fit for purpose” or a true “solution”.  We looked at the total needs and requirements of our LIMS customers and explored all the leading cloud hosting providers so that we could architect a true Fit-for-Purpose: Cloud Hosted LIMS for our Customers. Baytek will continue to offer traditional BLISS LIMS implementations on customer managed servers but for our customers who want the simplicity and robustness of a completely managed cloud solution, Baytek presents BLISS as the best cloud LIMS offering on the market.

LIMS Services

Baytek International’s implementations consistently complete within a few months, minimizing lab impact. Not only are they completed on schedule, they are also within budget.

Our recipe for a successful implementation includes several factors. Baytek International adheres to a strict methodology, developed and refined over the past 40 years. This includes a Post Project Review where both the customer and our Professional Services Group jointly assess the success of the project. Throughout the process, we capitalize on the know-how of our consultants, who average over 15 years industry experience. And we firmly believe system deployment must engage those who will be maintaining the system. This recipe for success has resulted in a 100% implementation success rate. To borrow a phrase from the insurance industry, you are in good hands with the Baytek Consulting Team.

Components of a Successful Baytek Implementation Include:

  • Implementation Planning Session (IPS) – At this meeting, the details of the project, expected milestones, and responsibilities for a successful implementation are reviewed.
  • Discovery Phase – Define the details of the customer’s needs and workflows.
  • Data Dictionary, Mapping and Data Conversion – The workflow and data dictionary definitions, developed after the IPS, are a critical aspect of the project.
  • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) – The system is staged in a controlled environment to provide functional testing of all components.
  • System Acceptance Test (SAT) – The system is then integrated into the customer’s network for onsite testing, using the same validation script as the FAT.
  • Instrument Interface – Instrument interfaces are accomplished with Baytek’s iPRO instrument interface solution.
  • User Training – Key customer personnel attend the five-day LIMS System Administrator class or the System Management training. End-user onsite training is also available.
  • Go-Live – A Baytek analyst is onsite for the go-live.
  • Post Project Review (PPR) – A follow-up PPR meeting typically occurs 30 days after Go-Live.
